Uniform Orders

The dress uniforms were ordered. Once they arrive, I will make plans for a seamstress to come and size them for us...they come in a general size that will need "tweeking" before they can be pressed and worn in public. I still need to find dress covers and dress shoes, but I can do that during our company break. Take care all.

New Year planned events

    In the month of January, the leaders are planning on getting re-certified in CPR/First Aid training. This class will also be offered to the Young Marines. Once successfully completed, there will be an opportunity to earn another First Aid ribbon and/or device.
    At this time, there is no date set.
    In February, the Company will be hosting a fund-raising banquet, probably a ham and bean supper with an auction. Plan now to help with set-up, serving, cleaning, and helping with the 50/50 and auction. This will be an "all-hands" event, meaning troops, leaders and parents. Plan on some of you parents being asked to "take charge" of some of the planning and executing with this event. The date and location will be provided later after a on-line query for a date and time.
    Additionally, plan on our first drill session of the new year to come in February. The staff has plans for some interesting, fun and educational events planned. The senior Young Marines will be playing an important part in drill this Spring, being put in charge of close order drill, physical fitness and class room instruction.
